    If your looking for requests I'd love to see some photo/image editing benchmarks on occasion.

    We really don't see many such benchmarks, but I'd guess it's a relatively common usage scenario, and there are easily available common benchmarks for ACDSee and PhotoShop amongst others.

    I think dual core on the desktop sounds like it could become the next "computing gadget" for a while.

    Sure, we all have a hundred reasons why we'd like it, and we all get those situations where you wish your computer could multitask better... But I'll bet we're hampered by single processor performance more often.

    Of course, that won't stop me being one of the people who has a hundred reasons why I'd like a dual core processor in a few months. But I won't NEED one.

    Oh, the agony of computers. How can there always be a "next big thing" right around the corner!? :)
