So how much does one of these zero-AT-writer-added-value-content advertisements cost?

Will you also carry marriage announcements or going-out-of-business sales?

It's a posting of a press release. It's fine and it's what's expected. There is 99% no money exchange involved.

Somehow this and the other on Corning glass overflowed a buffer inside my head...

It's quite simply cut & paste of publicity or advertisement and I don't go to AT for ads.

Ads don't work for me, actually they reduce the chance of me buying a product: The more something is advertised, the less likely I am going to buy it.

So I block them every way I can: In my mind and with tools. And it's agood thing, because ads are after all supposed to make you buy... and with ads I wouldn't.

Good reviews make my buy things, even things I don't need. AT has been successful at that and it's a form or product support I can agree with.

And I have no issue with vendors paying AT for reviewing their products, as long as AT ensures the reviews will be fair.

But please keep ads and reviews strictly separate. If you mix, I'll to away and vendors can't sell to me.

The article is fine. This is not a review but a product announcement so we can't expect benchmarks.

A lot of boring news and nothing about Zombieload? 3-9% performance hit on Intel CPUs?!
