Introduction

It's time once again for AnandTech's Memory and Motherboard price guide.

The basic goal is to provide you with the best deals, and follow price trends of the listed products. We have selected a leading team of on-line vendors, and will be tracking their progress on weekly basis. Please note that all vendors were selected according to their best price offered. Some vendors may ask that you place a phone-order to make sure that you receive our listed price; others simply ask that you mention where you found the price (in this case AnandTech). We have tried to eliminate vendors with low feedback rating, but we do encourage you to do some research before purchasing any product from this list.

If you encounter any problems with a vendor on our list, please email us, and we will take appropriate action. Remember that we will only list vendors with positive customer feedback. If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to let us know.

Also be sure to check out AnandTech's Hot Deals Forum for even more great memory, motherboard, CPU, video card and other technology buys.

This Week

Welcome to the Second Edition of AnandTech's Memory and Motherboard Price Guide for the month of May.

We are happy to say that memory prices for this week are smokin' hot! Almost every single module we list has come down in price and making things sweeter is Crucial's recent announcement that DDR SDRAM modules run for the same as PC133 CAS 2 SDRAM modules. At one time many months back buying DDR might put quite a dent in your checkbook but those days are long gone and hopefully this trend of lowering prices will hang around for some time longer. Not only have DDR modules dropped but also RDRAM which comes as no surprise as well PC133 and PC100 SDRAM modules. In addition, a big thanks to the readers for letting us know that Corsair PC2400 DDR modules are now available which are listed in the guide.

Motherboards on the other hand haven't made much noise in terms of prices with most remaining the same with a few fluctuations here and there. We've added several new motherboards to the list which including a new KT133 and KT133A motherboard as well as the Shuttle AK31 KT266 and EPoX EP-8K7A DDR boards.
